He is recognized internationally, having received awards such as the Palme d’Or, Antibes Film Festival in 1997 for “Blue Heaven” and the world’s first prize Golden Fin Award at the French International Film Festival in 1998 for “Colours of Sinai”, not to mention television broadcasts on Disney Channel, Channel 4 (UK), NHK (Japan), Egypt Sat, ZDF and Pro7, to name but a few.
Having logged more than 11,000 dives and certified thousands of divers, photographers and videographers; El Anna has rightfully earned recognition as a qualified Master Instructor and respected international underwater photography judge.
Today, El Anna still resides in Sharm El Sheikh with his wife and two sons and continues to explore Sinai and its wonders.
